Applications are invited for a position of Research Associate-I under the Indo-ASEAN Project titled “Redesigning of Fish from Fish Protein Using Innovative 3D Printing” by the Department of Food Science and Technology, University of Kashmir, in collaboration with:
- Faculty of Fisheries and Food Science, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, and
- Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University, Thailand.
Project Focus:
The project aims at utilizing low-grade fish and fish processing waste for protein extraction and developing personalized dietary products through 3D food printing. The work addresses critical goals in sustainability, waste reduction, and precision nutrition.
Eligibility:
- Highly motivated candidates with a strong research aptitude, and willing to work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment involving both national and international partners
- Ph.D. in Food Science &Technology, Food Engineering, or relevant field or,
- Masters Degree in Food Science & Technology with 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience having at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
- Experience in protein extraction, Design and Development, 3D food printing, or food formulation is desirable.
Fellowship:
As per Indo-ASEAN project norms. The position for a period of 02 years is temporary and co-terminus,
