Imparting training to rural areas for Value Addition of Fruits and Vegetables of Western Himalayas through Eco-friendly and Low-Cost Technologies

Different training programs were held at various rural areas in UT of Ladakh under the NMHS project sanctioned to Prof F. A. Masoodi



An 8-day visit to UT of Ladakh (16-08-2022 to 23-08-2022) to conduct training programs at various locations. Keeping in view the interest of the local population, the training programs were mainly focused on the processing and preservation of apricots.

 1. Training program at Kargil in collaboration with G&G Skills Developers Pvt Ltd and Food and Drug Department, UT of Ladakh

2. Training program on processing and preservation of apricots at Lamayaru on 18-08-2022

 3. Training program on apricot  and vegetable processing was conducted at Turtuk village Leh on 21-08-2022
